Harvest Hand Up: A benefit for Ugandan Farmers

We promise you a great day of friendship and philanthropy as we gather together at Sunnybrook Farm for a meaningful and heartfelt experience!

At the heart of our cause is the mission to empower Ugandan farmers and revolutionize their lives. By providing them with the necessary tools, education, and resources, we can transform their agricultural practices, increase food security, and foster sustainable livelihoods. Through this fundraiser, we aspire to make a lasting impact on the  lives of these hardworking individuals, their families and and their communities.

Our event begins with an optional Euchre tournament where both seasoned players and enthusiastic novices can test their skill and compete for cash prizes. The top 4 players will participate in an exciting final round later in the  evening. Even if you're new to the game, our experienced volunteers will be on hand to guide you through the rules  and ensure an enjoyable evening for everyone.

Later, all the attendees, indulge your taste buds with a delicious smoked pork barbeque featuring local producers and all the traditional fixins of potato salad, baked beans, coleslaw and desserts. You can even take home  delicious pies of your choosing during the live auction as part of the evening festivities. Will you be the winner of the 50/50 raffle?

The Harvest Hand Up Fundraiser will be a lively day of music, great food, and fellowship with the  opportunity for you to learn more about the lives of our fellow farmers in Uganda. It's hard to imagine their daily  struggle to grow even a few bushels of corn - something we take for granted as we turn out thousands of bushels per harvest!

Please join us as we contribute the most we can to empower Ugandan farmers to create sustainable farming  practices through education, appropriate equipment and the highest use of their natural resources.

This will be an event of compassion, unity, and one you will never forget!

2:00pm  Barn Doors open  -  Drinks, Nibbles and Music provided all afternoon

2:30pm  Euchre Rounds begin - limited to 64 players

5:30pm  Smoked Pulled Pork Picnic meal for all

6:00pm  The Mission and The Purpose Presentation - Why Are We Here? Final Euchre Round, Live Auction and Pie & Dessert Auction, 50/50 Raffle, and much more!
