The Finish Line Scholarship

We are pleased to award the first Finish Line Scholarship for 2023 to Rosevelia Rocha, of Mendota. Rosevelia is completing a summer study abroad program in Spain and unable to join us today for the reception. She will be attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to study Bilingual Elementary Education. One of her goals is to teach English abroad or become a Bilingual Program Coordinator. She notes her father works hard to support her family. She has five brothers, one of whom has cerebral palsy. Her mother is his stay-at-home caretaker. Her parents are Anzurio & Rosario Rocha.
