The Molly Lenora Yacko Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Molly Lenora Yacko by her caring cousin and fierce advocate for change, Emily Yacko Hardee.
Funding for this Scholarship is provided by your generous donations and the proceeds of the annual Run Today for Tomorrow event.

Every day, consider a donation. Proceeds will go toward making a positive impact on mental health resources. Grants are made to local mental health organizations AND the Molly Lenora Yacko Memorial Scholarship is awarded to assist college students pursuing a career in the mental health field.
Resident of LaSalle County, Illinois
Must be a student currently enrolled as a junior or senior in a four-year college or university degree program for the following academic year in pursuit of a degree in the mental health field of study.
Has demonstrated the following attributes:
Positive attitude; encourages others; charitable
Hard working; compassionate; high moral character
Role model to underclassman
Applicant must respond to essay questions addressing why he/she wants to work in the field of mental health, and what makes him/her a good “fit” for such a career? What are the current plans for employment and a dedicated career in mental health services?
Applicant must include two (2) letters of recommendation from current educators or employers who can attest to the applicant’s ability to succeed in a mental health career.
