Five specific charities will receive a generous annual grant from this Fund established by Boyd and Phyllis Palmer.

Community mural in downtown LaSalle to honor women who have made significant contributions to Starved Rock country.

GREEN*STOCK*TEEN FUND

The “Green*Stock*Teen” Fund was established to provide a gift to teens ages 13-19 who may not otherwise receive a holiday gift.

LAMB FAMILY FUND FOR ABILITY & ADAPTION

The purpose of the Fund is to make charitable grants to local organizations who serve individuals living with physical disabilities.

Funds are designated to residents of Seneca, IL.

SUSAN THORNTON DONOR ADVISED FUND

Susan Thornton, a well respected and well-known philanthropist throughout Central Illinois and beyond, established her fund in partnership with the SRCCF to make grants to local charities and arts-centric organizations in the region.

ILLINI STATE PARK FOUNDATION FUND

The Illini State Park Foundation Fund was created to accept donations to provide financial support for the Illini State Park and the Illinois Fallen Soldier Tree Memorial, both located in Marseilles, Illinois.

KARL’S KRUSADERS FUND

The Karl’s Krusaders Fund will be used to improve athletic programs and equipment at local schools, and in time, fulfill the dream to create an indoor sports complex in the Mendota, Illinois community.

DANNY NELSON MEMORIAL FUND

All proceeds are contributed to charitable organizations to be used in the community that Danny was so fond of.

FLAGS OF FREEDOM

“Flags of Freedom” stand in tribute to the men and women who serve or have served our country. They are a reminder of the sacrifices made to keep our Nation free.

HERITAGE HARBOR DOG PARK

Heritage Harbor Ottawa created a new, pet and owner-friendly, dog park on the grounds of Heritage Harbor Ottawa.

LAMB FAMILY FUND FOR CROTTY PARK PLAYGROUND

This fund provides a variety of equipment at the playground that allows children of any ability to play alongside one another.

MARGARET MESSER MEMORIAL FUND

Provides grant funding to organizations that support Margie’s most cherished values – people of faith, mothers and children.

OTTAWA AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT LEADERSHIP FUND

The DAF is a flexible, efficient way to facilitate charitable contributions from the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce.

ROBERT M ESCHBACH LEGACY FUND

Your contribution will assist in the growth of the Fund, which is specifically designated for the continued aesthetic, cultural and economic development of Ottawa.

STARVED ROCK COUNTRY COVID-19 RESPONSE FUND

provides financial assistance to non-profit agencies working to combat the effects of the Coronavirus. $50,000 distributed in first-round funding.

ZERO FOR HEROES

The Zero for Heroes Fund will provide a dog or cat from a local shelter to a Veteran living with PTSD.

WOMEN INSPIRED NETWORK

Women Inspired Network is a charitable giving circle of local philanthropic women who make annual contributions to empower and enhance the quality of life throughout our community. WIN is a component fund of the Starved Rock Country Community Foundation whose mission is to “connect people who care with causes that matter.”

DISASTER RELIEF

The SRCCF Disaster Fund enables us to provide financial support to area non-profit agencies who support residents in need.

Supports the juried art show and arts festival to be held in Ottawa in 2021.

Thanks to the generosity of John Ross, a member of the Ransom agricultural community, several local charities receive significant grants from John's fund each year.

Captain Thomas John Heitmann had many ideas and dreams to give back to so many. Grants to make some of those dreams come true will be made from the Fund.

SENECA HISTORICAL GUILD FUND

The Seneca Historical Guild has established a Growth Endowment Fund for the Guild with the Starved Rock Country Community Foundation on the power of $10,000 in lead-gift donations.
